Melbourne, November 1, 2017. Today, Intrax Consulting Engineers announced the acquisition of Chase Burke and Harvey (CBH), a New South Wales-based surveying and civil engineering firm with more than 40 years of success in its industry.
The acquisition will further boost Intrax’s leading position in consulting in Australia, adding both to the scale and capability of its Surveying consulting business.
Intrax CEO Barry Borzillo said: “This is an extremely positive development for Intrax and in particular for our New South Wales clients. We are investing heavily to grow our NSW business with this acquisition and that of ESG Surveyors in August 2017. Overall, this acquisition is another step in our journey to become the leading Engineering Consultancy Company in Australia and takes our overall employee number to over 300.”
This acquisition merges the strengths of Intrax, and Chase Burke and Harvey across our market segments, and will enable the combined entity to add further value for our clients. Intrax is excited by the opportunities to build a stronger presence in New South Wales. It will provide a platform to expand and complement the markets Intrax serve and further strengthen Intrax position as a leader in the delivery of a comprehensive, end to end engineering service.

The Chase Burke and Harvey team will be unchanged and will remain in its current Erina & Hornsby locations and will continue to operate under the Chase Burke and Harvey brand.
