The Arts House was built as a police hospital shortly after federation. The brief from the University of Melbourne was for refurbishment and fit out of the building as modern office space for faculty. Working closely with a heritage architect, the Intrax team developed the design in line with the brief, monitoring progress against the cost plan as the project progressed.
