Geotechnical Driller (Melbourne - VIC)

 

We currently require a suitably qualified geotechnical driller, who will be based in Melbourne.

 

As the ideal candidate for geotechnical driller, you must have experience in the following:

 

  • Residential site classification
  • Ability to classify soils in accordance with Australian Standard Geotechnical Site Investigations.
  • Drilling boreholes up to 30m with auger, air and coring.
  • Sampling for SPT, U50 and U63 and a basic understanding of laboratory testing.   

 

You must have a current manual driver’s license (white or red card) and Level 2 first aid.  You must also be able to work in accordance with the company safe work procedures.

Hydraulics Engineer - Building Services (Melbourne - VIC)

Our building services arm is seeking an experienced hydraulics engineer who can operate independently and as part of a multi-disciplinary team. As the person filling the role will be the only hydraulics engineer in the group, they must have an in-depth knowledge of all aspects of hydraulics services with some experience in environmentally sustainable design (ESD) aspects, including solar and grey water.


As an ideal candiate you will have:

  • A recognised tertiary qualification in Engineering
  • In-depth experience in the hydraulics engineering field
  • Good communication skills, both written and oral
  • Ability to represent the company at client meetings and work with clients to provide cost effective solutions
  • Ability to work independently as the only hydraulics engineer in the group
  • Strong knowledge of all aspects of hydraulics services with some experience in ESD aspects, including solar and grey water
  • Experience with AutoCad or equivalent would be an advantage
